OVERVIEW: Fireside Stone & Patio, established in 1976 in Highland, Maryland, has been a trusted provider of renewable heating solutions, custom fireplaces, and patio designs. Partnering with Good Marketing Group, they sought a website redesign that would reflect their updated brand and communicate both warmth and craftsmanship.

MY CONTRIBUTIONS: As the lead designer and developer, I was responsible for creating a responsive, user-friendly website that balanced the inviting feel of a family-owned business with the professional presentation of their work. I worked directly with the company’s manager to gather content, coordinate imagery, and refine site requirements. Using a blend of stock and client-provided photos, I crafted a layout that highlighted their services, showcased their portfolio, and brought their new branding to life through a clean, approachable design.

RESULTS: Although the site has evolved under different hands over time, key elements from my original design remain in place—most notably the homepage hero slideshow and overall layout. Seeing the site continue to serve as a foundation for their growing business is a point of pride and a testament to the durability and effectiveness of the design.
