OVERVIEW
Fireside Stone & Patio, founded in 1976 in Highland, Maryland, is a long-standing provider of renewable heating solutions, custom fireplaces, and patio design. In partnership with Good Marketing Group, the goal of this project was to redesign their website to reflect an updated brand while conveying the warmth, craftsmanship, and trust built over decades.

MY ROLE & CONTRIBUTIONS
As lead designer and developer, I created a responsive, user-friendly website that balanced the inviting personality of a family-owned business with a polished, professional presentation of their work. I collaborated directly with the company’s manager to gather content, define site requirements, and coordinate imagery.

Using a mix of stock and client-provided photography, I designed and built a layout that clearly communicated their services, showcased their portfolio, and brought their refreshed branding to life through a clean, approachable visual system.

RESULTS & IMPACT
While the site has evolved over time, core elements of my original design—most notably the homepage hero slideshow and overall layout structure—remain in use today. The longevity of these foundational components reflects the strength, flexibility, and effectiveness of the original design in supporting the company’s continued growth.
